I don't think VOO is 100% up to speed yet but I would be playing him regularly now
as i think his technical ability and attacking play is excellent. Some of the link up between him, Mbok, Wes and Howson was extremely good last night. The one area he is struggling with a bit is tracking back but he still gave the defence more protection than Redmond did during his stint on the pitch. He has a "Holt" type build which makes him look a bit overweight but i doubt very much he is.
I was referring to Martin when i said he seems a bit out of shape. I wonder if we have bulked him up a bit as part of his centre back role as last night he appeared far less mobile at right back than I remember from previous seasons. He just looked a bit off the pace to me.
