Vadis definitely looks like the long term Wes replacement
Unless he can improve on his defensive qualities as a right winger.
I also think Howson might be needed to play on the right a few more times, as Redmond looks bereft of confidence, on top of that Vadis worry.
In that sense I can kind of understand why we've been linked to more CM's. Ideally Mulumbu would fill that gap, but it hasn't worked out for him so far, whether it be poor fitness, being bad in training or just a general sense of complacency. It's very disappointing either way, because the guy was a beast for West Brom just two seasons ago.
