I'd go for ...
... A right-sided midfielder, someone along the lines of Steen Nedergaard - a solid player with a bit of pace who could cross the ball and cover in defence.
I'd go for a central midfield playmaker who could pass and take free-kicks - hopefully we've got scouts at the African Nations Cup.
I'd take David Wright from Wigan, perhaps McSheffrey and Earnshaw if they were available.
Oh, and I'd sell JJ to Plymouth, pay up Thorne's contract and sell Andy Hughes.
