In two minds about Grabban. Jimmed about Naismith.
Grabban was our first choice striker and would have led us into the playoff semis and final were it not for that ridiculous, petulant red against Rotherham. I'm quite certain he'd have started for us early doors this season and who can say what would have happened.
That said, Mbok and Jerome are clearly some way ahead of him in terms of being likely to start under SAN (and I trust his judgement implicitly). So the loss to us in playing terms isn't that great. More Jimming is the fact that Howe will get more out of Grabban than we ever could. I wish we'd delayed it a week as if he starts Saturday, nailed on that he scores.
All in all it's got to be good business, though, given his contract sitch-oo-ation and the price.
However what has me most Jimmy of all is that Naismith still seemingly hasn't closed. Windowlicker has been right before. Hopefully he's wrong this time and Naismith and Klose are ours this week.
