My thoughts .....

on Ashton, good player, not sure about great. I think his goal against Man City last year shows what he is capable of. We never got the best out of him this season, not too sure who's entirely to blame for that, hope he does well. Life goes on.

At the moment if estimates are right we have about 5.5mil in the kitty, not sure that I really fancy 3 mil of that going on Jerome. Personally I'd rather sign McSheffrey and Eastwood, who would probably cost about that combined. I just hope we get a few decent players in and dont spunk over half the money on one player, who I'm not convinced is that great. Of course if we do sign Jerome I hope he is as good as the price tag suggests.

Right winger has to be as big a necessity as replacing Ashton too. Not sure who's available really, is Routledge still rotting in spurs reserves?
