I'd be pleased if we signed him but relaxed if we didn't

He does bring something we don't currently have and he'd give the likes of Wes and VOO competition. Equally he is at his peak now and will decline in coming years and as Jim says No 10 is not the priority area.

So if we get him, brilliant. And if we don't, well, fair enough, move on.
