Strange how

Just before Deano came to us, there was a big debate about the two hot-shots in Div 1 and which we should get - Ashton or Harewood.

Ok, we got Ashton, but seeing how West Ham now have both players and Zamora (yes I know they aways had MH) and have given the Prem a real go, it just goes to show the difference in attitude and ambition between us and the Londoners. West Ham now potentially have a long term future in the Prem. We on the other hand refused to take our back foot out of Division 1 and for that we find ourselves pretty much confined to fizzy footy for years to come. Some will say we are a business and had to be careful, but no business is truly successful unless you take a few risks.
