Just think Maclaren isn't good at stopping slumps (see Derby) wasn't popular appointment and has a hostile fan base

Sunderland have already changed managers and won't have that pressure. They aren't adrift yet and could go on a run. 24 points from second half of season might be enough and that isn't I achievable
