Time Jarvis Had A Run Of Games

To Worthington, of course, a "run of games" is relative.

Andy Hughes-100 or so. Notmean? Appliocation. Energy. Commitment.

Ryan Jarvis-1 game. He's learning. Head isn't right. Better ship him off on loan somewhere.

I honestly don't see the point of spending whatever cash we've now got. This season is dead and buried and anyone who thinks we have a chance of making the play offs is deluded. Are Leeds, Palace, and Preston going to crash and burn as spectacularly as they need to in order for us to get in the top 6? Nope-they're shoe in's already-that leaves one place, but, despite all this optimistic squawking about "only being 8 points off a play off place", it still means us winning 3 in a row, and all those clubs from 6th down to us losing three in a row or so, It ain't going to happen.

I think we just need to play the season out, give the young players a genuine and prolonged run of games, and, come the summer, after we've finished 10th, hopefully, hopefully, there'll be a time for reflection and change, playing wise and, please God, manager and coaching wise. But spend it now, no, no point, no-one will want to come to us, and, because we're now known to have cash on the hip, every player we look at will be overpriced.

And if he signs Andy f**king Gray, I really will think he has lost it and is taking the piss out of us and everyone.
