Ashton - ''SILLY MONEY"
I have got to agree with Worthy on this one - we have indeed sold Ashton for ''silly money' this being the 7 million, especially when you break it down!!
7 million take away the 3 million we paid for him from Crewe that leaves 4 million, take out of that the 1.5 million that goes to Crewe and the player himself as the sell on clause and the players share and we are left with 2.5 million profit with which to replace Deano and buy 2 more players ideally!! I am no mathematical genius but I really do not get the ideas behind this one.
IN MY OPINION THIS CERTAINLY EQUATES TO ''SILLY MONEY''!!!
