Ashton: My feelings
Ok, so we are all going to be realistically fairly disappointed to lose someone of Ashton's quality and, above all, potential.
However, look at it from all sides and it is good business.
1. We have doubled our money on a player in a year and got our record transfer fee
2. We have sold a player who seems to have injury and fitness problems
3. The player himself wanted a move, and therefore i would rather he play at the top level if his heart will be in it more
4. We now have about 4million I would say to spend on 2 or 3 quality players at this level. Ok, so Worthington has spunked alot of money but when he has had decent money to spoend he has bought well (Ashton, Huckerby)
5. Our club can settle down again without this s**tty speculation, and move on
