The season started with realistic hope of a good season given the quality of players in the squad. I would have liked Dean to have remained a city player but the reality is that he has under performed for the side as many of his fellow players have done.. He has potential which has not been consistently shown on the pitch. He clearly wanted away and we have got 7m for an under performing player who has potential. I wish him luck for the future and hope the changes that are about to happen at Carrrow road address the problems on the pitch, hesitant defence, mid field players who lose possesion in criticall areas and cannot create and a forward line that is dynamic and clinical.

With the sale of Green also imminent at least we have the dosh to back up our aspirations. Time will tell but we need to get the balance right because as the last six months results have shown thing have not been right at Colney, The King is dead, long live the King
