it is only a few years the new academy structure and the end of the 90 minute rule
it will take time to get back to where we were before that rule killed our youth development, both in building reputation to get young players and in the time it takes for the first crop in the new scheme to come through. The ones on the fringe now would have been recruited under the old rules in the main.
