To be fair...

the club can't just come out and say Deano's unhappy and wants to leave, and we're currently negotiating a fee for him. That then would stop all negotiation dead in its tracks and Deano may have either...

a) Continued to play for us, but wishing he was elsewhere.

OR

b) Sold for substantially less than the board were holding out for.

You can't conduct certain business in public like that. At least acknowledge that the board have some integrity.
