I have the same feeling today...

as I did the day Chris Sutton was sold to Blackburn for ?5m.

You feel that if only the club had the courage of its convictions to push a little harder, great things lay around the corner. As much as we were sent back to square one after Sutton left, so history repeats itself today.

We will take a long long time to recover from this.
