Sadly not.
I've got a whole book of his poems, they're excrutiatingly funny. Sadly he never lived to see Association Football become the most popular sport in the world so we'll never know if he thought that the goal was "bowl where the ball should go".
And that, I think, is the biggest tragedy of all.
