Completely agree, there needs to be a plan and that we can just defeat them with diplomacy

But at the moment it seems we are yet again being led into another long, drawn out conflict that really we can't afford to get involved in.

The biggest problem for me with the whole situation is that there is no coherent strategy. Just a group of nations with their own interests, dropping bombs. Without strategy it's achieving nothing except blowing hundreds of millions of pounds on a pointless endeavour that could be used more wisely to help people in the UK who need it.
