Speaking as a geologist there's more than enough info in the rock records to support it. In fact we're actually due an ice age again any time now.

The only bit I have a slight issue with is how much we as humans affect it. Sure we do to some extent but I do feel that it's used heavily by governments and clean energy corporations as an excuse to tax and force people to live in a certain way. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, just that I think human influence gets exaggerated a little bit.
