West Ham last night sealed a club record ?8 million deal for striker Dean ashton from Norwich as Alan Pardew finally got the man top of his shopping list.
Ashton, above (pic lol) rated the best striker outside of the premiership is expected to sign a four year deal after undergoing a medical at Upton Park last night. West Ham who has two previous bids for Ashton turned down ny Norwich will pay ?7m rising to ?8m on appearances with his previous club Crewe due a percentage of the fee.
