I think Villa could do well

the strength of their squad is in their defence; they can put out a pretty solid back four and should set their team up around that. Then play counter attacking with their pacy midfielders, and using Gestede as a pivot to hold the ball up and link the play.

Sherwood was completely the wrong manager for them - trying to play such an attacking style with those players. Hopefully Garde will do the same, but I fear he will be a bit wiser.
