I thought yesterday showed that SAN is definitely not the problem.
The team were set up brilliantly and despite the errors that lost us the game everyone gave all they had. Choosing to play 2 left footed wing backs due to them being the best 2 in the squad and the quickest was also a risk that worked out well. Only question is does Howson offer enough greater strength and defensive quality to compensate for losing Wes's creativity?
Overall it made me optimistic rather than negative, a bit like the first season when we came up with PL and we gave a penalty away every week for a while but always looked up for it. It also took Lambert about 10 games to work out his best team if I recall correctly.
