he's clearly a very good manager

his record at Hamilton and last season both show that. However, the Premier League is a big step up for him as well as it is for the players - he just needs time to get it figured out. If he doesn't figure it out we'll probably go down; but that is the risk we need to take.

It would be absolutely criminal from the fans if they started to turn on another good manager. It achieves absolutely nothing.
