Joe Root is just such a good batsman

I know they've all found it easy on this pitch but he just never looks hurried or bothered at all. When bell was in was thinking that if even him, when hugely out of form, can get 70 odd in this surface then Root will find it very easy.

Should be looking to fill our boots here after lunch and try and get ourselves 150 odd ahead with a couple of sessions to bowl at them. With Bairstow, Butler and Stokes to come in we've certainly got players who can step up the run rate.
