Ideas needed

Good ways to go about promoting my insanity(running this marathon) and therefore encouraging people to sponsor me.........

Ive emailed the club as i wanted to run in my city top,thought maybe they might be able to help somehow?

Sticking the link on the board has been very useful so far,thanks to the guys who have sponsored me.

Any other ideas,other than the usual go round friends/family/work mates
