dunno, to get to that position he'll have had to tone down his ideas
to the point of being just another socialist - and european countries seem to manage ok with proper socialist parties in power so I suspect we'd muddle through it for the 5 years it takes to get a new government.
The bigger danger for the UK is (IMO) that him being Labour leader come the next election probably means we get an unfettered George Osborne as the next PM.
(Which in turn will probably lead to 10-15 years of Labour government afterwards. Wash, rinse, repeat. I don't think alternating eras of one-party dominance are good for this country)
