What evidence is there for that?

I'm not a great Grabban fan but he's a superior player, their respective records in the Championship so Lewis is better at getting goals, even if his finishing is poor. Lafferty just doesn't have the ability at this level (or indeed the championship imo) and that's why he didn't play then and he isn't playing now
