Pesimism

It seems that almost everyone on this board has written this season off. Ok, so realistically we are 8 or 9 points from the playoffs but the season we got to the PO final we were about that amount off with 8 games to go.

We have a good run of fixtures after the Reading game (particularly on 5th Feb!) and if we can win the majority of these we will be well in the picture.

I might change my mind after Watford game if we lose however! As for the Ashton saga I am now thinking it would be best if we sold him (for ?8m!!!!!!) and got Jerome in as his replacement (imagine the pace upfront - Hucks, Jerome, McKenzie, McVeigh). It seems Deano has been unsettled by all the speculation, and it would be best for everyone. I just hope it all gets sorted ASAP 'cos we need to sign a replacement for him if he goes. Thorne up front for the rest of the season give me nightmares!
