That Solheim Cup "incident"
Having seen it that was a gimme and I think the Europeans will regret enforcing the strict letter of the law.
It's a bit like the Stokes dismissal in the on dayer. Maybe the Aussies were technically entitled to appeal but Smith should have done the decent thing in the end.
Ok if she had in fact been warned repeatedly the previous day that does put it in a different context but Europe are way ahead in the match and don't really need to win matches in that manner.
