Razorlight, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Bloc Party...
4 biggest I've seen in tiny venues before they had a hit single of any kind. Then a few bands who aren't massive but would sell out most gigs they play like - The Rakes and Art Brut who I saw and met many a time in small London pubs.
