During the January 2014 transfer window, Gafaiti moved to Football League One side Oldham Athletic joining on a season long loan.[7] He made his debut on 22 March 2014 on a 1-0 home victory against Crawley Town, coming on in added time.[8] Only just making one appearance, it announced on 22 April that Gafaiti returned to his parent club.[9]
