to get a statement from the club on the transfer disaster that is honest. My fear is that even if the club do say something it will be we have a great squad and we will be fine this season (which we still might be) however I don't believe anyone is happy about this. We missed out on players and I think messed up letting Johnson go. My guess is we only let him go as we thought we had better players coming in but it's not happened.
I don't know all the reasons why we couldn't get the players we wanted but if it's because we didn't try hard enough players like Redmond could be wanting out by January. It's also the sort of dealings that cause a manger to quit.
Whatever the reasons all we can do now is hope we aren't in the bottom 3 by Christmas and that we can get some players in during the January window.
Anyways time to drink coffee....
