Anyone reckon clubs just wait to announce signings on deadline day
despite the fact that they have transfers agreed days or even weeks beforehand?
Remember the time we signed Harry Kane at about midnight, just seemed like the club didn't want to be accused of signing nobody.
Wouldn't surprise me if the new TV deal had stipulations about announcing deals on the final day just to build up interest in the league and Sky hype.
