Having had time to reflect on yesterday,
we had a great chance to take points from Soton.
They were 2nd bottom, been dumped out of Europe, in poor form.
Both sides were poor for first half hour, but Jerome missed the best chance of the match, a sitter from 6 yards.
That could have changed the game. Our confidence would have grown and Soton's would have got less.
It shows we need a striker who can score.
He missed a sitter against Stoke who only had 1 shot on target, and took it.
We are dropping points with our inability to take chances.

- I thought we actually defended pretty well yesterday considering all the chances we gave (NCFC) - lurd, Aug 31, 10:33:48

- No it isn't, but we stand more chance of winning (NCFC) - canary_wharf, Aug 31, 10:27:27
