Went through it last month

to catch the ferry to La Gomera.

Seems to have been built up a hell of a lot since I last went there, especially the bit between the edge of the town and the dual carriageway / hills on the Airport side of the bay.

Don't think there is a clear divide anymore between where playa de las americas ends and los cristianos begins although what I saw would suggest that los cristianos is the nicer area of the two.

Its certainly popular with the brits and even two weeks before xmas the airport was busy heading in and out of Tenerife. God knows what it must be like in summer!!
