I think it probably helps as well that Grabban appears to be a bit of an aloof character

Admittedly this is speculation but I suspect that due to his character and the fact he still does not live locally he's probably not one of the key characters in the dressing room and as such, if he gets sent to Coventry, the other players may be less put out than if it happened with one of their mates.
