It really helps with mine.

If I can sustain a few sessions of running my mood really lifts - though when it's bad I can't really get out of bed to make a cup of tea let alone go for a run. A few bears is absolutely fine btw as long as you're hydrated enough when you run, and don't try a hard session hungover (an easy run will help clear the hangover though).
