i think Afobe will happen because

it is similar to Brady situation. We would not be wasting time making a succession of bids if there was no positive feedback from the player/agent. Whilst the player has said nothing publicly, is agent is probably in contact with McNally, has said Afobe would join us, and is helping to try and get the deal to be done.
