I've been on a wherry that went down the wensum and by carrow road.
We started at the Nelson, and went back upstream towards the catherdral before turning round and following the wensom 'til it met the Yare - it was in the evening news, 'cos it was the furthest upstream a wherry had been for years and years. Which was apparetly newsworthy in Norwich in the late 80s.
