Just back from worcs races amd 'james' in concert....

Never been to the races when its been pouring down, luckily the rain stopped but soggy wet amd muddy underfoot - played havoc with the favourites - ans was lucky enough to win two races - which paid for the evening at 4-1 amd 6-1..... James were really very good - top quality sound and unlike bono or jim kerr (for example) tim booth has not lost any part of his voice - managing to hit amd sustain all the high notes. They had theor original lead fuitarists re-join them on stage for the first time since about 2005. - flown in yesterday from canada - he played some epic solos.... Lots of 90's rave type synth as well.... Played all the crowd pleasers and played a soft piano arrangement for 'sit down' before it burst into life....the crowd went mental (sure this must happen at every james concert!) but the high light for me was 'come home'.

Brilliant evening - hardcore ja,es fans were there but your average race goer see,d to get into it too....

Great night and would defo see them again..... They've not lost anything.
