I think we've got a pretty decent squad already so I don;t think we needed too many signings but I am a bit frustrated with what appears to have been a real lack of focus when it comes to the strikers. I don;t know if Mcnally's tactic is just to have fingers in as many pies as possible in the hope that at least one or two come off but their seems a real in approach with Brady who we seemed to pursue with real tenacity. He must have felt he was really wanted by the club.

If Afobe was one of our main targets we would have been bidding for him weeks ago. That we are making our first significant bid for him now smacks a bit of us scrambling around panicking a bit ahead of the deadline.
