Elephant Stone and She Bangs The Drum were both recorded in the 80s

She Bangs The Drum appeared on the first LP, which was released before I went to NY in May '89, having spent a weekend shortly before in Madchester (seeing the Stone Roses as it happens) and hearing the LP for the first time. Elephant Stone may even have been released as a single in '88 - certainly it was released before the LP.
