simple enough math

You own your own house but have no savings.
You earn 100 per week but currently spend 80pw on essentials and about 14pw on fun

If you get demoted next year all your income (50pw) will go on essentials.

So, how much of the 'spare' 20 quid do you spend on fripperies now?
