we've dithered, now regulation favourites and decent targets will be well aware of that

so will be hesitant about coming unless we pay top dollar. looking back lambert was decisive when we came up last time and we got in players from lower leagues who whilst not most technically gifted battled and did a job for us. as the time goes on we just make it progressively harder for ourselves. who is going to be keen to join us after sat if we get another defeat. sorry but this window has been a really poor effort by the club.

look at the sort of ambition shown by palace since they went up. not only the players they bought but the managers they attracted. actually in last 5 years we have been a prem side for 1 more year than them but the relative ambitions of the 2 are a mile apart.
