A possible reason for lack of transfer activity?
First three matches against two mid table level teams and one in the bottom 5 or 6. Maybe Neal and McNally want to see how they measure up against that talent level before they start splashing cash. Didn't get a result against Palace but I'm sure they saw it was competitive. Get 4 points from Sunderland and Stoke and maybe they think they have enough. Dangerous game to play but after the Ricky mess hard to blame a cautious approach.
