I'm very grateful to our Board for a lot of things
They don't take the obvious/lazy choices and are prepared to take risks. No-one else would have appointed Alex Neil in the position we were in. No-one else would have appointed Neil Adams either; but I see a lot of brickbats for the latter when the reality is without the kind of board prepared to take risks we'd never have landed the former.
Many other clubs our size go for the perennial drain circlers of football management and I'm so very, very grateful that's not our way.
Yes they were (far) too slow to axe Hoots; but I love the fact they'll think outside the box. By definition if you take risks you'll fail sometimes and that happened with Adams, though the guy did his absolute best.
