Having now seen the highlights and heard all the pundits

We were f'ing unlucky yesterday. Had Grabban scored it would have been a different game. Jerome would have scored that chance Grabban missed and should start next week.

Encouraging to boss possession and dominate at times a team who most predict will do ok this season.

Referrees two big decisions an utter disgrace. 2-2 and I think we would have got at least a point.

As all pundits have commented we need that little bit of quality at either end so hopefully we can address that in the next week or so. I feel Olsson back and Brady left midfield for Johnson could make a big difference, as much as I like Bradders he looks a little out of place wide left at this level.

I also don't think that second palace goal was as "well worked" as many say. I think the guy just sent a slightly mis hit header back into the mix and they got lucky it fell to Delaney. Poor marking for that goal and the third plus Martin needs to stop jumping in the air like he did for the third. He jumped like a full back trying to block a cross this allowing their midfielder to slide the ball under him. Ultimately though that goal would not have happened at 2-2.

We shouldn't be surprised but really, really angry that just one week into the season we have already been shafted by a ref. the margins are so fine at this level and the need to start the season well is so paramount for us. That's a point we can't get back a d two points Palace also should not have and both those factors could prove important come the end of the season.

Confident though that Mcnally and Neil will learn from that and address the weaknesses. The midfield control we had at times bodes well. We rarely if ever had that sort of possession or platform in games last time we were up.
