I went to see Mark Steel the comedian he other night. He's a big Palace fan and was

talking about how confusing it is now that they're quite good. It's not what they're used to. He did a funny few minutes about watching them being rubbish in the Championship. Palace fans aren't the worst I don't think.

First game of the season is always hard to call isn't it? We never win either. I remember feeling so confident before Colchester and allowing myself to hope we might beat Wolves last season.

I'd love us to get off to a good start. I'm hoping we'll at least get a draw but a lot of me is expecting us to lose. Nothing is sorted after the first game.
