Quite right too.

That Four Four Two article on transfer rumours that was posted the other day was quite insightful I thought - one journalist pointed out that fans love the whole process of transfer rumours and bids because they can claim them as 'victories' (and equally perceive missing out as a loss). Just look at how negatively many posters on here comment on our activity in relation to Watford and Bournemouth purely in quantitative terms without any real assessment of the overall strength of their squad. Neil sees the players everyday and knows what is needed - all the blubbing on here completely misses this point it seems, and focuses on the simple amount money spent. Very superficial.
