Is there a correlation between number of signings and success?

I, like everyone else, would be happier had we made a couple of additional quality signings, but I don't think signing heaps of players is the answer.

Let's see where we are in a few weeks and judge things then.

As noted above, we've got a huge squad with a number of pretty average players on big money.
