Making mental health/illness more mainstream on TV is a good start to changing people's minds and that of society.
I do genuinely believe it's mainly a lack of awareness and education on the topic that is the root cause of discrimination and prejudice.
This is another positive and welcome step in the right direction. Small but important I think.
